Today happens deja vu. The fact that no individual athletes, no athletic team, and the entire Olympic team of the Russian Federation in full strength will be suspended from participation in the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro. That is, in Brazil, we will not.
How to treat this? And why is it deja vu?
Don’t know who and how, but I personally heard this news, breathed a sigh of relief.
Because it’s absolutely stupid decision of the IOC, which is thought his leadership was to humiliate Russia, in fact put in a stupid way he IOC.
Because this decision can not be related to doping. This is pure politics, not having to sport any relation.
Why on earth are Russian players, boxers, fencers or gymnasts have to suffer at the mercy of a few unscrupulous athletes?
I called the IOC decision a déjà vu because it is exactly-in-exactly repeats the decision of the IOC ( and in fact, the USA) on the boycott of the Moscow Olympics in 1980.
