Another Ukrainian was injured in the explosions at the airport Ataturk in Istanbul.
Among those killed in the explosion at the Istanbul airport Ataturk is a citizen of Ukraine Larisa Cepakova born in 1960. This was announced by the Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul Vasily Bodnar on air of TV channel 112 Ukraine on Wednesday morning, June 29.
“There is information about another citizen of Ukraine, who may have been injured. But this information has not been confirmed,” added Bodnar.
In the air Эспрессо.TV Bodnar said that the deceased flew through the international airport together with her husband, “She (deceased – ed.) my husband flew through the Istanbul airport and the shard she caught it seems in the leg. Are unable to rescue the loss of blood and she died,” – said the Consul General.
According to him, the search for Ukrainian citizens among the victims continue. So, on the eve of diplomats visited all the hospitals where they brought the victims of the terrorist attack at the airport.
Bodnar also said that the operation of the airport are suspended until 17.00 on June 29. According to him, access roads to the airport closed. Security measures are strengthened.
