Russian blockbuster “the Duelist” Director Alexey Mizgireva on the 9th of September will be presented at the International film festival in Toronto. It will be the third Russian film, released in the IMAX format.

The film “Duelist” takes place in St. Petersburg in 1860. In the center of the plot – adventurer Yakovlev, who earns his living by participating in fights for money. He receives calls for others and knows no misfires, no misses. But soon it turns out that the chain ordered Yakovlev victims leads him to one man, who, among other things, is his longtime enemy. Now the hero must face the past to clear his name.
