Sony has announced the exhibition Photokina 2016 new DSLR camera A99 II, category full frame, mount A. This is, of course, the successor to the Sony A99, which was released four years ago, and long suggested a replacement.
DSLR Sony A99 II is equipped with very powerful hardware, including a 42.4-megapixel Exmor R BSI CMOS (35.9 x 24 mm) with a sensitivity of 102 400 ISO, 5-axis image stabilization and phase detection autofocus Focus 4D on the basis of 79 points. Its capabilities will be enough to keep the focus of even very fast moving objects. Capabilities of the image processor will be enough to record video in Ultra HD and maintain continuous shooting at up to 12 fps at maximum resolution. It also supports Live View, but in this case, the frequency will drop to 8 frames per second, that too much.
Sony A99 II has an OLED viewfinder with XGA resolution and the screen is 3 inches diagonally. Compared with the predecessor, the camera has become more compact and lighter by 8 per cent in the presence of a magnesium alloy body. Under SD card there are two slots. Sale Sony A99 II will start in November at a price of 3200 $ for the “carcass”. The cost of the sets with whale lenses and the parameters of most optics are still unknown.
