Dolgopolov will not return to court in 2016-m to year

Долгополов не вернется на корт в 2016-м годуA leading Ukrainian tennis player Alexander Dolgopolov due to injury was announced early end of the season.

“Hello all my fans and just tennis fans. Unfortunately, I have to announce that the 2016 is over for me in connection with back injury. My team and I are actively working to restore and hope to be back strong and healthy in 2017. So I’ll see you soon, take care,” wrote Dolgopolov on his page in Instagram.

The past season was one of the worst in his career, Dolgopolov – from Kiev because of the frequent injuries and lack of stability has lost the status of the first racket of the world, fell from the top 50 of ATP rankings and has won just 17 wins in tournaments under the auspices of the Association of tennis professionals.

The main achievement Dolgopolov in 2016, the year was getting together with Elina Svitolina in the final of the Cup of Chapman. Ukrainian can take credit for the semi-finals at the tournament in Acapulco, as well as getting into the quarter-final stage in Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona and Nottingham.
