Dolgopolov will not play at Roland Garros

Yesterday in Paris held a draw for the men’s singles – Dolgopolov, who received the 28th seeded in the first round had to play with famous tennis player from Spain Fernando Verdasco.

Several hours later, after a lot Dolgopolova last name disappeared from the list of participants – opponents, Verdasco was the American Steve Johnson, but a place in the main draw was one of the losers of qualifying, Thomas Fabiano.

Later it became known that Dolgopolov could not get in Friday’s workout, and the reason of refusal from participation at Roland Garros was a muscle injury. The anguish of the Ukrainian tennis player was received in the first round of the masters tournament in Rome, losing in three sets to Austrian Dominic Tim.

Dolgopolov for the upcoming Open championship of France was to become the seventh in his career – the Ukrainian has twice reached the third round, and last year ended the fight after the first round.
