Doctors told, what lights are the most dangerous

According to scientists, the reduction of natural lighting can significantly degrade the human condition, and prolonged exposure to conditions of artificial light is able to wear out prematurely.

With winter approaching, automatically increases the time we spend under artificial light. Doctors see this as a definite risk factor: bright light can exacerbate the emotions, both positive and negative, is their opinion PlanetToday.

A group of international researchers initiated a study came to the conclusion that in conditions of artificial light, people can become more touchy, irritable and aggressive. Scientists conducted an experiment that showed that people who were in a brightly lit room, acute sensitivity and susceptibility to different kinds of stimuli. In particular, they are differently evaluated the taste of the food, attractiveness of other people and spoken to them words than those who have not been exposed to the lamps.

Experts believe that such changes in sensitivity associated with the reaction to light hormones. According to them, prolonged exposure to artificial lighting can make certain adjustments in the activity of the hormonal system, which can adversely impact on health. In particular, experts say, artificial light reduces melatonin production, therefore will increase the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure and bad mood.

Experts recommend to work more often to use a blue light, which, as it turned out during the experiments, increases the productivity of mental activity and not easy on the eyes as normal bulbs. But in regard to the environment, requiring comfort and relaxation, the doctors think it’s right to comply with soft and ambient lighting from self-contained sources of electricity, avoiding the bright Central lighting in the room.
