Dnipro demanded for Markevich and two million euros

«Днепр» требовал за Маркевича два миллиона евроEx-mentor “Dnepr” Miron Markevich told about his thwarted move to a European club.

Markevich, currently holds the position of head of the Committee of national teams at football Federation of Ukraine, intends to collect from Dnipro 1.7 million euros of debt on a salary. The former coach of the club said that the reason of his principled position on this issue – not only the financial factor.

“Why I am against the “Dnepr”? The fact that a year ago I was offered a good contract in Europe and I asked to let me go,
‘ve already seen that the team is sold.

Was the debt for three months, and I was ready to give up the money, just let me go, but I said in response to pay two million and then only to leave. So I basically will insist on the fact that I gave the money I earned honestly,” said Markevych in the air of radio “Vesti”.

Miron Markevich headed “Dnepr” from 2014 to 2016. Under the guidance of an experienced expert of the Ukrainian club from the same city became the finalist of the Europa League, took second place in the championship and made his debut in the Champions League qualification.
