In an interview with Empire Gareth Edwards told how he understands the name of the new “Star wars” and the implications:
On the one hand, “Outlaw-single” – a military concept, a call to arms. On the other hand, this is the first “Star wars”, which are not part of the trilogy and not talk about Skayuokera, that is, in a sense, we can perceive the painting as an outcast. In addition, it applies to the heroine felicity Jones – gin of ERSO. Her spirit single, the similarity to Han Solo and the desire to always do the right thing, even if it will cause unpredictable consequences, makes the character Jin in tune with the name. So he has a lot of meanings, one superimposed on another, so I think it was good”.
“Rogue-one: Star wars. History” will be released in Russian cinemas on December 15. The film will unfold shortly before the events of a New hope. In the story, a group of rebels are sent on a virtually impossible task – to steal the blueprints of the death Star, the most powerful weapon of the Empire. It is known that a small role in the film will play Darth Vader.
