Water gives life to all living things, but it also happens that water becomes a murder weapon. On our planet there are many deadly bodies of water, which you should stay away. In our review we will focus on some of them.
1. Lake Karachai, Chelyabinsk oblast, Russia)

2. Boiling lake (Dominica)

3. River Citarum (West Java, Indonesia)

4. Rio Tinto (Andalucía, Spain)

6. Horseshoe lake (California, USA)

7. Mono lake (California, USA)

8. Lake Kivu, between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo)
Lake Kivu in East Africa is terrible not because of its location or composition of the water. It is extremely dangerous due to the huge amount of methane and carbon dioxide, contained at the bottom. By themselves, these gases are harmless, but they can simultaneously come to the surface when a volcanic eruption or earthquake. Since in this region there are many volcanoes, lake Kivu hear the ticking of the time bomb. Constantly foreseeable risk of methane explosion or asphyxiation with carbon dioxide the two million people living in the area.
