Crimean border Department of the FSB have prevented the smuggling of ammunition from Ukraine. On Saturday, March 12, reported the press service of the Ministry, the RIA Novosti news Agency.
Ammunition were found in the car Volkswagen Passat, which followed from the territory of Ukraine through border crossing point “Dzhankoy”. The attention of the border guards caught the passenger, the inhabitant of the Kharkov area.
As a result of inspection of his baggage were found live ammunition of 7.62 mm, traumatic cartridges calibre nine millimeters with rubber bullets and mount an optical sight. “In addition, it identified 85 coins that can represent historical and cultural value, also concealed from regulatory authorities”, — reports the Agency. All the items were seized.
16 February in Rostov region, Russian border guards fired at the two smugglers, who by cars trying to get from Ukraine to Russia with a large party of cigarettes. During the operation, one of the staff of the FSB border region was injured, and one of the two offenders of a gunshot wound.
