Crimean authorities are planning to demolish in the fall of 2016, about six thousand objects recognized by the squatter, reports RBC with reference to sources in the government of the Peninsula.

Demolished stationary and non-stationary buildings in the hundred-meter coastal zone throughout the territory of Crimea.

The costs of dismantling preliminarily estimated at 1.3 billion rubles, which the Crimean authorities then expect to recover from the owners subject to demolition.

For each such object there was a deadline for voluntary demolition (in most cases no later than the end of July), but many owners of these deadlines are not met, according to RBC. A list of unauthorized building subject to demolition throughout the Crimea, due to be published September 1.

The demolition of squatter Crimean authorities plan to hold on article 222 of the civil code, which allows local authorities to demolish unauthorized construction on the common areas or zones with special conditions of use without a court order.

Experts interviewed by the publication, indicate the difference between the Russian and Ukrainian land legislation. Buildings that will be demolished, they explain, can meet Ukrainian standards, but not more severe.

“The whole of Crimea, the entire coastal area is a small family business, cafes, small shops, and in many cases people do indeed have permits. Of course, when they were demolished, it would create considerable social tension,” — said the Chairman of the Sevastopol regional branch of “OPORA Russia” Valery Vasyunin.

The new version of article 222 of the Civil code of the Russian Federation, allowing local authorities, under certain conditions, to demolish the illegal structures without a court decision, entered into force in autumn 2015.
This article was used by the Moscow authorities, conducting the demolition of the retail pavilions at metro stations in February 2016. Then it was demolished about a hundred Pavlinov. Owners of many of the pavilions were trying to prove that they have duly executed the right of ownership, however, the court recognized the actions of the Moscow city hall legal. Until the end of 2016, the Moscow city hall is planning to demolish another 107 pavilions.
The Crimea was annexed to Russia in the spring of 2014 the results of the referendum, the results of which most of the world did not recognize and continue to consider the Peninsula as Ukrainian territory.
