Resident Josh Dominguez (Josh Domingues created Flashfood app that allows restaurants with discounts to sell food from expiring. It is reported by the Motherboard.

Restaurants can upload to the photos app products that are ready to cheating. Discount on them can reach 50 percent. You can pay by card.

Users can subscribe to interested in their products, and of food outlets will send them a notification if they have formed remains.

“Our goal is to defeat hunger. I know it sounds crazy, but I am sure that by developing the economy of collaborative consumption and creating an environmentally safe, long-term company, we can do to help those less fortunate,” says founder of the service.

According to Dominguez, the idea to create this app came to his mind once sister chef complained to him that she was instructed to send to the dustbin of shellfish valued at four thousand dollars. As a result, she gave them to the homeless.

App launch in Toronto scheduled for August 1, 2017 Dominguez plans to connect all of Canada.
