The escalator will bring tourists in Enshi canyon.
In the Enshi canyon (national Park Enshi Canyon), located in Hubei province (Hubei) in the Central part of China, opened the world’s longest escalator, standing on which, tourists can explore the scenic surroundings. The length of the escalator – 689 metres, the trip takes 18 minutes.
The escalator can deliver more than 7 thousand people per hour with the top of the mountain into the canyon. Above him pitched roof in the Chinese style, and the sides planted with trees and climbing plants – it is assumed that the escalator is the best fit to the environment. Parallel to this structure is laid the usual stairs, and some tourists say that went through it faster than their companions on the escalator.
