Plans of “Rosoboronexport” for the supply of weapons abroad in 2016 exceed $ 13 billion. This was stated by the head of state Corporation “rostech” (it includes Rosoboronexport) Sergey Chemezov, transfers RIA Novosti.
According to the Center for analysis of strategies and technologies, in 2015, the company sold contracts worth about $ 13 billion in annual sales plan of 12.5-13 billion. The portfolio of orders of Rosoboronexport is estimated at $ 48 billion.
The total volume of foreign deliveries of military products and the provision of relevant services in the past year amounted to $ 15 billion. The rest of the money earned by the weapons manufacturers that have received permission to independent delivery of spare parts and provision of services for maintenance and repair of previously supplied equipment.
At the moment the uniform state intermediary authorized to sell military products abroad, is “Rosoboronexport”. Until 2007 the right of independent foreign trade activities had a number of large enterprises of the domestic defense industry, in particular the RAC “MiG”, NPO mashinostroeniya (Reutov), KBM (Kolomna) and the instrument design Bureau (Tula).
