A sanctuary for book lovers.
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, there is a big bookstore called El Ateneo Grand Splendid.
It is notable for being located inside the theater building, which opened in 1919. It was later converted into a movie theater, and in 2000 under the bookstore.
Fun fact: Buenos Aires has more bookstores per capita than any other city in the world — about 25 bookstores for every 100 thousand inhabitants. In second place is Hong Kong with 22 stores for every hundred thousand inhabitants. Then comes Madrid with 16 stores and London with 10 book stores for every 100,000 residents.
