By the end of 2016 the market of video advertising in Runet will increase by 18%

The Director General of IMHO Vi Ilya Alekseev said that by the end of 2016 the market of video advertising in Runet will increase by 18%. This statement Alekseev made during a recent conference Tvzavr.ru.

According to Ilya Alekseyev, the first half of this year the volume of Internet video advertising amounted to 2.6 billion rubles, while during the same period last year the figure was 24% less, and the growth of this segment of advertising in the last year was 10%. In the current year the volume of video advertising on the Russian Internet is expected to grow to 6.3 billion rubles – 18%. The analysts of Gazprom-Media Digital note that the growth may reach up to 20% by the end of 2016. Further, in 2017, the market volume of video advertising in Runet should amount to 7.7 billion rubles, and in 2018 – 8.6 billion rubles, said the leader of the company-seller of video advertising IMHO.

The largest buyers of video advertising in Runet in the first half of 2016 MCG of steel companies, which accounted for as much as 52%. In particular, this Mars, Unilever and Procter & Gamble. The second position with a share of 19% of total segment took advertisers who carry pharmaceutical brands, third – car salesmen, which accounted for 8%.

According to experts ‘ forecasts, in 2017 the active placement of Internet video advertising can join advertisers from the financial and construction industries, as well as the sellers of home appliances and electronics.
