The next opponent of Ukrainian heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko will probably be unbeaten Australian Lucas Browne.
Reputable portal “BoxingScene”, citing German sources, has announced the breakdown of negotiations between the teams of Wladimir Klitschko and Anthony Joshua. The battle between two Olympic Champions is still possible, but it will not take place on 10 December.
The main snag in the negotiations was the decision of the world Boxing Association, which refused to put the title in their version of the fight Klitschko-Joshua. For Ukrainians it was crucial to fight for this title.
After unsuccessful negotiations with the representatives of Joshua, Wladimir Klitschko switched to fallback.
