“Now we have to revert to more active operations, military capabilities. There’s nothing we can do without a coalition, without joint actions with the Americans. I think we are far enough from the implementation of such measures, but this does not mean that the discussions are not conducted,” said Johnson.
In addition, the head of British diplomacy considers that London should consider the possibility of strengthening sanctions against key political figures in Syria.
Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the statements of Johnson, said that the efforts of all States deserve support if they are aimed at the fight against terrorists in Syria.
“The efforts of any States in the fight against terrorism deserve the highest praise. And if it efforts to fight against the legitimate authorities, it is unlikely that it is worthy of high assessment”, – said Peskov.
