The new Ukrainian Cabinet approved by the Parliament on 14 April, interesting not so much for those who entered into his composition, how much those who didn’t get him. This writes the Agency Bloomberg. “The experiment of Ukraine with the invitation to the government of reformers from abroad and professionals from the private sector officially ended, and has not brought any positive results”, ― believes the author is a political analyst, columnist of the Agency Leonid bershidskiy.
“The new Prime Minister is a typical Ukrainian politician, capable and resourceful, but exclusively pursuing their own personal interests,” the author writes. He noted that the new Cabinet also included a lot of experienced Ukrainian politicians and officials who thrived under the former regimes, as well as a couple of veterans of the “revolution of dignity” 2014 and several allies of former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
“Those who manage these post-Soviet systems, like the Ukraine, no less intelligent and talented than the private sector, seeking to change. It’s just that these people are guided primarily by their interests, not public good. And this is such a strong motivation that any reform will fail as long while dedicated romance does not take the majority of seats in the government ― this is quite hard to imagine ― or until the more advanced countries start to intervene much more actively than they do now,” writes the reviewer for the Agency.
