Leading fashion blog Visionaire from the United States invited the residents of St. Petersburg, objected to the nudity of the copy statues of David on Kirochnaya street, dress her up in outfits from famous fashion houses. Among the outfits that are preferred bloggers — leather shorts and boots from the Brand and purple top and pants from Denny Gvasalia.
In addition to these packages, the bloggers have “tried” on David things from designer Duo Dsquared 2, crimson trench coat from J. W. Anderson jumper-oversize jacquard pattern from Off-White, pants and top from Raf Simons and other clothes. They also compared the modest inhabitants of St. Petersburg with the British Queen Victoria, who ordered to cover the nakedness of marble statues with Fig leaves.

A replica of the statue of David made of plastic appeared on Kirochnaya street in St. Petersburg to support the ongoing building of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Anne of the multimedia exhibition “Michelangelo. The creation of the world”. The installation has caused the complaint of a local resident that the statue spoils the appearance of the city and can affect minors. In response, the organizers of the event invited the residents of St. Petersburg to choose a costume for the statue. The evening of 29 July, the art-group “Sever-7” for a few hours covered the nakedness of David cap.
