Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko received from the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev guarantee repayment of debts before the staff and players of the club
The Russian football Union (RFU) is trying hard to provide for the payment of FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod owed its former players funds. Negotiations have already reached the level of the Minister of sports of Russia Vitaly Mutko and Nizhny Novgorod Governor Valery Shantsev. Prior to this, the House of football on Taganka tried to resolve the issue directly with the leadership is in the process of liquidation of the club.
In the disposal of “Izvestia” were part of the summer official correspondence between the RFU and “Volga”. On 2 August, addressed to the General Director of the club Oleg Alyoshin was sent a letter signed by General Director RFS Alexander Alayev. It expressed concern about non-compliance with workers ‘ rights “Volga” in the first place regarding outstanding salary and bonus payments to the players, coaching staff and administrative staff.
“8 July 2016 the RFU sent to the address of FC “Volga” letter of request until 31 July 2016 to provide information on the current debt to the players, coaching staff and administrative staff of the club. 29 July 2016, the club has informed the RFU about the repayment of debts before employees of the club”, — stated in the letter from the RFU dated 2 August.
The document further stated that, on 30 July in RFU address received a letter from the football player Dmitry bubbles, where he argues that “Volga” has not fulfilled their obligations to him. This caused concern of the RFU, who asked the club to give up to August 5, explanatory notes on the letter bubbles. A copy of the letter from the RFU dated 2 August was sent to the Minister of sports of Nizhny Novgorod region Sergei Panov.
The answer of “Volga” in the name Alayev came on 25 August, where it was reported the repayment of all debts under the salary before the personnel. The remaining debt, according to the club, concerned only the premium for the result at the end of last season (10th place in the competition, Germany). According to representatives of the club, these payments are only possible upon availability of funds. And in connection with debts on tax payments at the time of the closing of the debt on the premium for 2015/16 was not possible.
In a letter from the club signed by its Director Aleshin also pointed out that debt on a salary before the former head coach of “Volga” Andrei Talalaev missing.
“At the time of dismissal talalaeva from the club with him signed an agreement about compensation payments for early termination of the contract. Under this agreement paid 2.5 million rubles”, — said in the letter “Volga”.
The document also noted that “Volga” met all its obligations, despite the loss of professional status. August 30, the RFU sent a new letter signed by Alayev in the name of Aleshin and Panova. It management “Volga” has reminded that in a letter dated August 25, the club pointed out on payment of arrears of salary, but not bonus, as in the case of Malakoi, and compensation for early termination of the employment contract, as is the case with Talalaeva that in accordance with article 129 of the labour code are also part of wages. Based on this, the RFU concluded that the information given by the club, not true.
“The RFU monitors the full implementation of the obligations of the former participants of competitions under the auspices of the RAF before the subjects of football in the first place players and coaches. At the moment the RFU is finalizing a report to the President of the RFU on the above monitoring of FC “Alania” FC “Rotor” and your club. Please no later than September 8, 2016 to provide updated information on the repayment of arrears of wages, premium and other debts established by agreements with employees of the club”, — the letter says Alayev.
September 2 edition of “Sport-Express” has published the text of the letter of the group of former football players “Volga” in the name of Vitaly Mutko with the request to assist in the enforcement of debt from the club. According to players, only “Volga” owe them about 40 million rubles.

However, according to “Izvestia”, Vitaly Mutko decided to go the legal route and after negotiation with Valery Shantsev received guarantees of repayment of debt.

Nizhny Novgorod “Volga” has taken the decision to withdraw from the competition in Germany in June due to problems with financing. Club, reported about the upcoming disbandment is funded by the Nizhny Novgorod region. On 13 September the Arbitration court of Nizhniy Novgorod region has satisfied the claim of LLC “Sapphire” on the recognition of the “Volga” bankrupt.
