Strategist at Goldman Sachs Kamakshya Trivedi said that the fair is the dollar below 60 rubles, RBC reports.
The expert noted that currently the Russian ruble is undervalued. According to him, the Russian currency is undervalued even after the rally observed since the beginning of the year and led to its strengthening by 14%.
“We still think there’s potential in the Russian ruble”, – he added.
Trivedi said that the rating “reflects the current account of Russia and a gradual recovery in the terms of trade”.
We will add that according to the annual forecast of Goldman Sachs, the dollar will account for 62 of the ruble.
