Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad appealed to the international community to pay attention to the fact that Turkey is helping the terrorist groups in Syria, and to influence it to settle the Syrian conflict.
In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais, Assad said that some countries, in particular Turkey, Syria sent in a large number of terrorists, supply weapons and provide logistical support.
According to Assad, if Turkey would intervene in the Syrian conflict, its authority will be considered terrorists. He stressed that no country has the right to invade Syria to commit hostilities.
