It animals first conquered space.
19 August 1960, Soviet space program took another step forward and was sent into space dogs Belka and Strelka. There are different versions about the outcome of their mission, however, correct one thing: it was not the first and not the last time, when the animals helped people to explore the outer space. In this article, we have collected animals that sacrificed their lives in the space race and left the surface of the Earth, starting with the Soviet dog Laika and ending with the American chimpanzee ham.
Iranian monkey

Miss Sam
