In the new season, the Cup will undergo a few changes.
With the upcoming season all the stages of the Ukrainian Cup will consist of one match, and the draw for each round of the tournament will be held at the “blind” principle, without the use of the rating.
In the first round in the Cup will start 16 members of the Second League. From the second stage to the eight first round winners will join two clubs of the Second League and 18 First League clubs.
In the 1/16 finals will play 14 winners of the second round and six clubs from the Premier League. Elite representation in the 1/16 finals will be determined in accordance with the tournament table of the Premier League at the time of the draw for this stage of the tournament.
In the 1/8 finals in addition to the 10 clubs that won the matches of 1/16 final, start six of the best Premier League teams in the standings at the time of the draw 1/16 finals. Further, according to the usual scheme of quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
