As “Fontanka” already informed, on April 22 in “operation Anaconda” was detained the car “Mitsubishi Lancer” on Torzhkovskaya street. It found 9 grenades, 70 rounds of ammunition, fuses to grenades, a Kalashnikov rifle and a Mosin.
The driver and passenger — previously convicted men. They, as it turned out, admitted that in 2014-2015 participated in an armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine in the battalion “Zarya” Lugansk people’s republics. The armed men brought for the purpose of selling it in St. Petersburg.
According to the facts police initiated a criminal case under article 222 (“Illegal storage of firearms and ammunition”) the criminal code of the Russian Federation.
