In the U.S. state of Alaska police seized the woman the body of her husband, which she carried in the back of a truck during a day of sightseeing. About it reports The Guardian.
The guards detained the woman after received a signal from the administration of one of the canneries of the suspicious woman, to buy a large consignment of ice and plunging it into the truck.
When viewed from the car, the police found an aluminum coffin with the body of 78-year-old man who died of natural causes.
As it turned out, the woman was carrying the body of the deceased to the morgue, but on the way decided to stay a couple of days.
The chief of police of the city of Ketchikan Alan Bungard explained: “As I understand it, she decided to explore the area and see the sights. In the process she had twice stopped canneries and buying ice, and then shipped it to the body to maintain the body in a frozen state”.
No charges brought against the woman. Police seized the body of her husband and was placed in the morgue. According to Bernhard, the police hope that the widow, enjoy the views of Alaska, will call him on the way back.
