All orphan anything: as the Ukraine are cashing in on needy children

Себе все - сиротам ничего: как на Украине наживаются на нуждающихся детях

Nice to live not forbid, therefore, the officials of the Transcarpathian regional state administration gave to the orphans after graduating from vocational school the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Agree, an impressive gift? Apple products, due to the high cost, can not afford one, and it would seem like it is commendable that Ukraine has decided to make such an expensive gift for a needy child. But the matter was not so happy.

Smartphones, which received 34 graduates, was… fake. One of the “lucky” iPhone said that during the presentation in the administration building of them, without attracting too much attention, warned that the phones need to update the software. However, the three service centers the owner of the gadget stated that it is impossible to reflash.

“As I explained to these phones like iPhone is software Android, which like iOS. It was not immediately noticeable because the fonts and icons are similar, but in service centers I was told that this software of unknown origin”, — said the owner of the mobile device.

It’s funny in this situation that officials have not even spent on the phone as a gift iPhones a year and a half ago, were confiscated from smugglers attempting to bring them through the border. After a failed attempt to implement them through auctions gadgets transmitted to the regional Department of education and science.

By the way, for the spread of pirated hardware and software in Ukraine provides for criminal and administrative liability. However, what I am, when the Ukrainian politicians today, there are no laws…

It is understood that initially, orphans were allocated funds, which, in fact, the officials and had to buy gifts. As already mentioned, the phones of this brand are expensive, and, hence, the amount have been allocated to them rather big. And it is logical to assume that the money the officials are divided among themselves.

Of course, such “valuable” gifts can not be compared with the fact that earlier Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is smart enough to give legless military soccer ball. This act and the act of the officials can be called cynical and mocking. In fact, why be surprised when such events unfold in Ukraine, where corruption has practically “eaten” the country, and purses utterly brazen politicians will soon burst from money stolen from the people of money.
