The deal for the consolidation of Rosneft’s 100 percent stake in TNK-BP was closed in March 2013, shares were repurchased from consortium AAR and British BP. To Finance Rosneft took out loans in foreign banks totaling more than $ 30 billion.

Rosneft is one of the world’s largest public oil and gas companies, the principal activities of which are search and exploration of deposits (including marine) hydrocarbons, oil, gas, gas condensate, and processing of extracted raw materials.
