They look like something alien.
The cold war caused the rapidly development of science and technology. It was built a huge number of military facilities and bunkers, whose task was the defence of various countries from the consequences of the transition of cold water in the “hot” phase. With the end of the arms race and confrontation between the USSR and USA, many of the objects were completely unnecessary and abandoned.
The Franco-German photographer David de Rueda decided to find these objects and demonstrate them to the world. In the framework of the project Nikon “Abandoned places” he visited nine European countries and took pictures of these ruined places. Thanks to the skill of David, the photographs they appeared as some kind of alien objects. We offer you to look at them. The names of the pictures — more.
