Once this building was a magnificent structure in Romania, but since 1990, it is slowly in decline. Built in the early 20th century by order of king Charles I, the building has survived two world wars and was used as a casino on the Black sea. Included in the list of historical and cultural heritage of Romania.

Abandoned casino in Constanta. It is the largest seaport of Romania and the second in the Black sea. On the site of Constanta was the town of Thomas is an ancient Greek colony on the Black sea, founded around 500 BC for trade.

The casino was 24/7, it was well policed and it was almost impossible to get into without permission.

During the Second world war, Constance was the main naval base of Romania, was repeatedly subjected to attacks by ships and aircraft of the Soviet black sea fleet. In these times in the casino building housed a military hospital.

The last major renovation here was in 1988. Maintenance of the infrastructure of a casino in recent years became too expensive, and in 1990 the building was closed and abandoned.
