On 7 July, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov urged to prevent depletion of the reserve funds. While the problem of fiscal deficit through increased borrowing will negatively affect rates and availability of loans, the Minister added, therefore, a key objective is the gradual reduction of the budget deficit for the next three years.
