The championship fight in the heavyweight division between Tyson fury and Wladimir Klitschko postponed indefinitely.
Before the first fight between Klitschko and fury was injured Ukrainian – this time with similar problems faced Briton, traumatic Jogging ankle.
“Ten days ago I got an injury. No fracture, but looks like a dislocation, so I will miss 6-7 weeks. The fight will be rescheduled. There was an injury, nothing can be done, I’m sorry, everybody. The fight will be held as soon as possible,” wrote Instagram in fury, his uncle and trainer Peter fury on Twitter posted a bruised ankle of his ward.
Wladimir Klitschko has responded to the information about the cancellation of the fight – Ukrainian did not accuse the opponent attempts to avoid revenge, and wished Tyson fury for a speedy recovery.
“Fans of Boxing, I just got a message from fury about his injury. The fight, which was scheduled for July 9 has been postponed. But in any case the fight will take place. The rematch will happen. Want fury to quickly recover”, – said the Ukrainian.
Recall that a rematch Klitschko-fury was to be held the ninth of July in Manchester. Apparently, now the boxers will meet not earlier than autumn of this year.
