Head coach of Russian national team Leonid Slutsky has declared the final squad for the European championship.
In the Russian national team became the defender of Schalke’s Roman Neustädter, who a few years ago hard matched in the national team of Ukraine. A native of Dnipropetrovsk, in spite of the absence of the passport of the citizen of Russia, and zero experience in international career, he got in a final bid to the local national team.

Goalkeepers: Igor Akinfeev (CSKA), Guilherme (Lokomotiv Moscow), Yuri Lodygin (“Zenith”).
Defenders: Alexey Berezutsky, Vasily Berezutsky, Sergey Ignashevich, Georgy Schennikov (all – CSKA), Dmitry Kombarov (“Spartak”), novel
Neustädter (Schalke, Germany), Igor Smolnikov (“Zenit”), The Novel Shishkin (“The Locomotive”).
Midfielders: Alexander Golovin, Alan Dzagoev, Roman Shirokov (all – CSKA), Denis Glushakov (“Spartak”), Igor Denisov (Dynamo), Oleg Ivanov (Terek), Pavel Mamayev (“Krasnodar”), Alexander Samedov (Lokomotiv Moscow), Oleg Shatov (Zenit).

In the group stage of Euro 2016 the Russian team will play against England (June 11, Marseille), Slovakia (16 June, Villeneuve-d’ascq) and Wales (June 20, Toulouse).

The Russians qualified for the sixth time in the final stage of the European championship. The best result of the team remains the semi-finals, produced in 2008, on fields of Austria and Switzerland.
