Unknown spilled thousands of barrels of liters of wine in South-Eastern France, causing a flood on the streets.
The incident occurred on Wednesday midnight in the French town of Sète, located near the port of Marseilles.
Thousands of liters of wine — the contents of five wine barrels — Tek on the streets, flooding basements and underground Parking houses. Firefighters managed to cope with an alcoholic flood and clear the Avenue from strong-smelling wine for half an hour.
The national police finds out circumstances of incident. It is reported that, perhaps, we are talking about the act of sabotage.
As informs TV channel France 3, the responsibility for the incident itself took Regional Committee for viticultural motion (CRAV), known for such protest against the purchase by France of wine from Spain at low prices.
