Japanese man became the oldest graduate in the world.
The oldest graduate in the world was 96-year-old Japanese Shigemi Hirata. In 2005, when he was 85 years old, he wanted to study poetry and enrolled in Kyoto University of art and design. After 11 years, Hirata graduated from training.
During the ceremony, the identity of the record holder, a graduate, said he wants to live to 100 years and get a degree.
“I’m happy. Learning is always fun at my age. My next goal is to live to be 100 years old. And if I’m in good shape at this time, I will consider to continue their education and obtain a degree”, – confidently said the graduate at the ceremony the identity of the record holder.
According to Hirata, the secret of his success in the environment — the Japanese have two children, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
