3D cinema is coming a revolutionary change

Despite the popularity of 3D, is still percent of viewers prefer the 2D session mainly because of the need to wear glasses. It is for these finicky moviegoers, a group of researchers headed by Wojciech Matusica from MIT and developed the technology Cinema 3D, which allows you to create a 3D effect at the cinema and perceive it without any additional optics. Cinema shows 3D image through a parallax displays, each of which is designed for a certain angle, while the combination of lenses and mirrors distributes these images around the theater.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to say exactly when the technology will be able to enjoy the simple audience: at present the prototype size is not greater than a sheet of paper and still requires about 50 sets of lenses and mirrors. Now scientists are developing ways to scale technology.
