Safe to say that Disney brought to life the childhood fantasies and fairy tales, all of which were read in childhood.
Beautiful worlds, found in our favorite Disney fairy tales, the imagination, but in fact many of them exist in reality.
These pictures, comparing some of the most iconic locations from disney cartoons with their real “peers” will make you believe in magic! The extent to which the Disney artists have borrowed these real sources of inspiration can vary, but for the most part the resemblance is obvious.

This mysterious “city in the sky” sometimes called the lost city of the Incas, which sits atop a mountain ridge at an altitude of 2450 meters above sea level. In 2007 awarded the title of New wonder of the world.
“Mulan” – Forbidden city, Beijing, China
The house of the Emperor from the movie “Mulan” was inspired by the Forbidden city, located in Beijing, China. Earlier this city was cut off from the rest of the city moats and purple-red walls, and only the Emperor and his entourage had the right to be here. The first of Chinese objects included on the UNESCO list of world heritage of humanity.
“Cold heart” – St. Olaf’s Church, Balestrand, Norway
