This year the demand for tickets to Simferopol from the independent travelers decreased by 25 percent. On the market of the organized tourism of the Crimea the situation is somewhat better, but there at the end of the year the situation may change.

According to experts, the cause of decline is also the discontent of Russian infrastructure service. Choose Turkey and Egypt tourists now prefer to go to Sochi, Anapa and Gelendzhik, where the level of service is higher than in the Crimea. This year the number of independent tourists who have decided to go to Sochi, grew by 40 percent.

At the drop of demand for travel to the Crimea affected the growth of prices for air tickets, experts say. Now the average price of flights to Simferopol and back is about 16 thousand rubles.

The demand for recreation in the Crimea began to rise sharply in the spring of 2014, after the referendum on joining the Peninsula to Russia. Last summer, Simferopol was called one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

Sale of tours to Turkey were halted after November of 2015, the Turkish air force was shot down near the Syrian border of the Russian bomber su-24. Flights Russia to Egypt has been suspended indefinitely after the crash of 31 October, the passenger liner “Kogalymavia” in the Sinai Peninsula.
