Twitter users by their activity on this social network during a European championship 2016 football championship in France will be able to change the illumination color of the Eiffel tower, reported the press service Twitter.
Throughout the tournament, with the first match of the day and the finals, the Eiffel tower will be at the centre of a light show that will be held following the discussions on Twitter. Every night 10 minutes after the final whistle of the last match of the day the tower will be illuminated in the national colors of the team that will get the most support on Twitter during this game day. The best tweets of the day about Euro 2016 sent by fans, will be projected on the tower.
Ukrainian fans can Express their support for the team using the hashtags #UKR #Twoasone. When specifying these hashtags in tweets will be incorporated themed emojis (language of ideograms and smileys used in electronic messages and web pages) – soccer balls, painted in the national colors of the Ukraine national team. Themed emojis will be available for all teams participating in the tournament.
It is also reported that Twitter users will be able to choose the best players of the championship match by voting in the official Twitter-account of the European championship @UEFAEURO and @EURO2016. To monitor the polls and participate in them using the hashtag #AskMOTM.
