The production of passenger cars in Russia in may of 2016 increased by 4.1% year on year and decreased by 7.3% compared to the previous month. Such data results the Federal service of state statistics.
For the first 5 months of this year was released 434 thousand vehicles, which is 20.4% less than in the previous year.
Overall, in 2015 the production of passenger cars in Russia decreased to 27.7% in 2014 and amounted to 1.2 million units.
Rosstat also notes that in January—may 2016 were produced 46.1 thousand trucks (including chassis), which is 0.5% more than in the same period last year. The production of buses for the first 5 months of the year decreased by 4.2% to 12.3 thousand units.
Industrial production in the Russian Federation in may 2016 increased by 0.7% compared to the same period last year after rising in April by 0.5% decrease by 0.5% in March, a 1 percent increase in February and decline by 2.7% in January this year. Such data today leads the Federal state statistics service (Rosstat).
Meanwhile, compared with the previous month, industrial production declined in may by 1.2% (after falling by 5.6% in April, rising by 9.1% in March, 3% in February and a fall of 19.7% in January-2016), with the exception of seasonal and calendar factors, the index fell 0.3 percent.
For the first 5 months of this year industrial production increased at an annual rate of 0.1 percent.
