In the Institute of biomedical problems of RAS reported that for the first time in space in orbit are going to grow fruit bodies. Soon to continue experiments in the International space station will deliver the new equipment.
It is intended for the modernization of the greenhouse “Lada”, which are going to grow peppers of the variety “Triton”. The experiment will last for 120 days. The first harvest, the scientists plan to collect by the middle of 2017. To the Earth they return together with the crew and immediately will go to research.
