According to him, the second question of the summit was the election of the Secretary-General of the organization, who will replace Abdullah al-Badri. “Currently, there are several candidates for this post. Starting with Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq. These candidate countries were in the list for voting in previous years. Representatives of the Ministry of energy of Russia will not participate in the summit in Vienna.
