Law enforcement officers must bear responsibility up to criminal liability if their actions led to the closure of private companies. This statement was made by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, speaking on Friday, June 17, at the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF), transfers the correspondent.<url>.
“Representatives of power structures should be held personally responsible for inappropriate actions that led to the destruction of the business. I believe that this liability may be criminal,” he said.
According to Putin, to encourage the best management teams in the regions of Russia it is necessary to work out additional mechanisms. “On the contrary, we will take serious measures, including personnel decisions, with respect to those heads of regions who don’t understand that business support is an important resource for development of the region and the whole country”, — said the head of state.
