American company Monohm announced the launch of receiving pre-orders for its highly unusual smartphone Runcible, which is also known under the name “antimatter”. It was submitted over a year ago — in February 2015 at the MWC show in Barcelona, but only now have grown to the stage of production.
Smartphone Monohm Runcible has a round shape and is very similar to a pocket watch or even a compass, so it’s really the antithesis of the conventional rectangular cell. It’s not an Android gadget, set BuniOS proprietary OS based on Android Open Source Project. The smartphone will be available in two versions: Runcible Runcible Babbage and Lovelace cost 400 and 500 dollars respectively, named after the famous mathematicians Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace.
