Selling oil through a stock exchange needs to be voluntary, at the moment there is a study of the legal framework of this procedure. As the correspondent “of Rosbalt”, about it in the framework of St. Petersburg international economic forum, told reporters Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak.
“Now the issue on amendments to order of Ministry of energy and the Federal Antimonopoly service. Our position is that such sales must be voluntary, and we discussed this with the FAS. (Now) there is a study of such a legal mechanism,” said Novak.
According to him, in General there is agreement that the stock trading you need to develop, but this process needs is voluntary.
The Minister also added that today in Russia there are companies that sell oil through the stock exchange.
Earlier media reported that the energy Ministry did not sign a pre-agreed with the FAS draft joint order. Against this document the sale of oil allegedly made by “Rosneft” of gas NOVATEK.
