On the website of the British Parliament a petition on holding a second referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU.
In the text of the petition, its proponents propose to introduce a rule, if the turnout in the referendum on withdrawal of Britain from the EU is less than 75% and voted less than 60%, should be assigned to a second referendum.
“We, the undersigned, urge her Majesty’s government to introduce a rule that provides that if to stay or to go, let’s vote at least 60% with a turnout of less than 75% must be assigned to another referendum”, – stated in the text.
Now the petition was signed by more than 123 thousand people.
To ensure that the appeal is considered by the government, need 10 thousand signatures, for consideration in Parliament need to collect 100 thousand signatures.
