Southern Mexico was struck by a powerful earthquake of magnitude 5.7 points, however the damage was avoided.
The epicenter was located 10 km from the city Pinotepa de don Luis in the state of Oaxaca, however the tremors were felt as much as 360 km away in the capital Mexico city, where was even evacuated some office space.
Interior Minister Miguel angel Osorio Chong said that messages about destructions did not arrive yet.
