In Germany, lightning struck the spectators rock festival.
As a result of a lightning strike on the rock festival Rock am Ring in Germany, injured 42 people, eight of them were hospitalized, one wounded and is in intensive care. It is reported by BNO News, citing organizers of the event.
The incident occurred on Friday evening, June 3, during a concert in Mendig (Rhineland-Palatinate). At the emergency arrived employees of law enforcement agencies, fire services and the German red cross.
The performance was interrupted, however, after about one and a half hours the concert lasted. The festival was attended by about 90 thousand people, reports Die Welt.
